Robert ‘Bob’ Lundy was a Sergeant in D – ‘Dog’ Company, 506th he was a friend of Walter Lipinski and often visited my grandparents home with him.
I am pleased to say that my family is now back in contact with Bob and his family after a whole lifetime. The next photo is of Bob at home near Chicago in 2009!

The back of this photo has the message written ‘Love to ‘Mom’ – from Bob’. This is what some of the soldiers affectionately called Flo my Grandmother.
